Resumo

The theoretical analysis of the transient conduction problem of the electrically heated thin wire in an electrically conductive medium is presented. Comparing the results with the ideal case of non-conductive medium( the principle of hot wire method ), we find a certain region of the wire dimension in which the thermal responce are very similar to the principle. In such a region the thermal conductivity of the electrically conductive medium can be measured by the hot wire without any electric insulation.
