Thermal study of a water-filled micro heat pipe including heat transfer in evaporating and condensing microfilms
Resumo
A detailed mathematical model for predicting the heat transport capability and the temperature distribution along the axial direction of an isoscele triangular micro heat pipe, filled with a polar fluid (water), has been developed. This model includes hydrodynamic flows and heat transfer in both the condensing and
evaporating thin-films. The effect of the dry-out or flooding region, depending on the fluid charge, on the MHP performance can be predicted.
