Control of heat transfer in a geysering water column by ultrasound emission
Resumo
In the present study the geyser phenomenon in the vertical LNG pipe was simulated with the vertical water column in the
cylindrical glass tube with a coil heater around it. Heat flux to the water column was controlled by the electric input power to the heater. Ultrasound was applied from the bottom of the gersering water column to control the geysering phenomenon. As a result, it is clarified that the generation frequency and heat transfer of the geysering water column can be controlled by ultrasound emission.
