Resumo

The experimental techniques and results on droplet-liquid film interaction in an annular-dispersed flow of a gas-liquid mixture are presented. The parameters of the droplets entrained from the film surface, re-entrainment of falling droplets, and the effect of gas cross flow velocity on the rate of deposition are analysed. The experiments were conducted on vertical and horizontal channels. Correlations for average entrained droplet sizes, droplet size distribution and droplet axial and cross velocities, rate of droplet re-entrainment, and rate of deposition for gas cross velocity have been obtained.
