Resumo

The paper is aimed at the construction of mathematical models for simulation of gas-dispersed chemical reacting turbulent flows. A kinetic equation is obtained for the probability density function (PDF) of particle velocity, temperature and mass distributions in inhomogeneous turbulent flow. This PDF equation is used for the derivation of different schemes for description of turbulent transfer of momentum and heat transfer in dispersed particle phase. The turbulent characteristics of gaseous phase are calculated on the basis of k-ε model with modulation effect of particles on the turbulence. The proposed models are applied for the prediction of various gas-particle turbulent flows in swirling round jet, vertical pipe and combustion chamber.
