FORCED CONVECTION HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER FROM A CIRCULAR CYLINDER IN A HELE-SHAW CELL
Theoretical and experimental studies are made of the steady state forced convection heat and mass transfer from a circular cylinder in a Hele-Shaw cell with the thermal insulated walls in the uniform flow. The heat (mass) transport problem are solved in the limit of high Peclet numbers. The constant wall temperature and constant wall heat flux boundary conditions are studied separately. In both cases the exact solution of transport problem has obtained. It has shown the existence of the analogy between the transport processes in the porous medium and Hele-Shaw cell.
