Resumo

Thermal conductivities of compressed graphene sheet layer are experimentally and computationally studied in this paper. The layers with mass density of 0.13~0.60 g/cm3 were made of monolayer, trilayer and a few layer pure graphene sheet powder by the re-expansion-exfoliation method, and theirs thermal conductivities were measured by the 3? hot-wire method. The results showed that the thermal conductivity of all samples are larger than 100 Wm-1K-1, which is much larger than the multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) pellet with the similar density in the past-reported results. Meanwhile, numerical simulation had been conducted to verify the samples thermal property, and the calculated thermal conductivities are well agreed with the experimental data. The experimental and computational results of thermal conductivities revealed that compressed and flexible graphene sheet layer would have wide applications in the electronic capsulation.
