Аннотация

This paper describes a numerical method for predicting flows and heat transfers in general complex two dimensional geometries. The program solves for laminar elliptic flows in which buoyancy can play an important part. Validation of the method in natural convection in a simple geometry is presented and its application to a problem of engineering interest involving natural convection in a vertical enclosed annulus of complex geometry is also described, and some results presented.
