Аннотация

The Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger (PCHE) has been adopted in the refining, chemical processing, LNG, refrigeration and nuclear plants in recent years due to its advantages in high effectiveness, compact size (both in volume and weight) and wide range of operating conditions. It is a promising candidate for the offshore platform, floating liquefied nature gas system and the future floating nuclear power plant. The heat transfer characteristics of PCHE with straight flow channels under the rolling condition are investigated by CFD simulations in this paper. The influences of mass flow rate, rolling frequency and rolling amplitude have been studied. It is found that the effects of rolling motion would be reduced when increasing the mass flux. Compared to the rolling amplitude, the thermal-hydraulic characteristics of PCHE are more sensitive to the rolling frequency. And the rolling motion has more significant influence on the flow resistance while the variation of Nusselt number is relatively small.
