Аннотация

Freezing process is very important for frozen food quality and energy efficiency of home refrigerators. This paper used finned aluminum plates to enhance the freezing process inside a freezer room. The frozen load test package (M package, 10cm×10cm×5cm, 0.5kg) was chosen to be experimental samples. The aluminum plates were placed at different positions of the food sample to see how they influenced the freezing process. All of temperature data were measured with K type thermal couples. The results show that adding bottom or both bottom and top aluminum plates for M package could significantly improve its freezing process and the aluminum plates placed on the top of M package showed no obvious improvement for freezing process.
