摘要

It is well known that surface temperature measurements by optical means are limited by the errors due to both the unknown emissivity and the reflected fluxes. The application of the photothermal effect produced by a chopped laser beam to the measurement of surface temperature has proved to be a valuable tool to avoid the errors due to the reflected fluxes. In this communication we show that a pulsed laser may also be used for the same purpose. Since the measurement is very rapid, this new technique allows measurements to be made on a moving surface. We present a careful analysis of the role of the experimental parameters and some typical results.
