LOCAL HEAT TRANSFER IN 3-D TURBULENT FLOW THROUGH DUCTS ROTATING IN THE ORTHOGONAL MODE
摘要
This paper reports results obtained at numerical simulation
of streamwise-developing turbulent heat transfer in rotating ducts. With a rotation modification of the k-ε turbulence model, computations based on the artificial compressibility method and the finite-volume techniques are carried out for two problems. Firstly, heat transfer features in the region of hydrodynamically fully
developed flow are studied for ducts of circular and square crosssection. Secondly, developing flow and heat transfer are calculated for the circular tube inlet region.
