APPROXIMATE CALCULATIONS OF AVERAGED HYDRODYNAMIC VALUES AND INVESTIGATION OF TURBULENT PROCESSES IN CHANNELS
Abstract
The paper presents new methods of calculating the hydrodynamics and heat transfer when coolants flow in channels of a complex cross−section. It gives the experimental data on statistical characteristics of velocity and temperature pulsations. The results of investigating the heat turbulent diffusion coefficient, momentum and turbulent Prandtl number are described.
