AN EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF TWO-PHASE PRESSURE DROP FOR POTASSIUM WITH AND WITHOUT NET VAPORIZATION
Pressure drops were measured for two-phase upward flow of potassium in vertical tubes. Data were obtained for both adiabatic and diabatic conditions, over a range of flow rates, absolute pressures, vapor qualities, and heat
fluxes. The results were found to be well correlated by the simple annular-flow model, using an empirical equation for estimation of void fractions.
