Abstract

In this paper the geometrical structure of disperse system is described by fractal theory, which is based on the easily measurable parameters, such as, probability of occupied, the diameters of disperse pellet etc. A fractal model of thermal conductivity of disperse system with even pellet has been developed with the aid of the analogy between the heat conduction and the percolation. The measurement of the thermal conductivity in the disperse system was carried out by the method of cutout hot wire. The model's prediction as to the ratio of thermal conductivity for different pellet size is reasonably in agreement with the experimental result.
