Abstrakt

Statistical and phenomenological approach to the problem of turbulent scalar substance transfer in nonhomogeneous turbulence is considered.Together with averaged transfer equations the equations of fluctuation fluxes of scalar substance uii' are used. The system of equations is closed by phenomenological approximations of the correlations characterizing the change in uii' due to molecular effects and the correlations including pressure fluctuations. As an example, calculation of heat transfer characteristics in a flat vertical channel with free turbulent convection is discussed.
