RADIATIVE HEAT TRANSFER IN A MODEL POROUS BODY
Abstract
Absorption of radiative energy in a cylindrical channel of finite length is investigated. External radiation fluxes of two types are considered: the directed and diffusion one. The dependence of radiation energy distribution over the channel length on the external source type and the radiative flux value, the ratio of the channel length to its radius, surface and filler emissivities and the existence of non-isothermal conditions along the channel is found. Solution of the heat transfer problem in a porous plate with a determined heat source is obtained.
