EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF RELATION BETWEEN HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER CHARACTERISTICS IN EVAPORATING CHANNELS
Abstract
This paper presents the results of the complex investigating of heat transfer coefficient, pressure drop water flow rate in the wall layer, film thickness, flow patterns and drop size in the annular evaporating channel with the pressures up to 70 bar under before burnout conditions. The investigation results of the burnout and the pressure drop crisis in the evaporating tube over the pressure range from 13 to 100 bar are obtained. The possible approaches to the problem of moist vapor heat transfer calculation are considered.
