TWO-PHASE FORCED-CONVECTIVE HEAT TRANSFER AT HIGH SUBCRITICAL PRESSURE
Abstract
Two-phase forced-convective heat transfer was investigated in the reduced pressure range 0,31<π<0,96 with ammonia as working fluid in a vertical tube. With small qualities as well as simultaneous high mass flow rates and system pressure it is suggested to use the dimensionless groups controlling turbulent heat transfer in tubes for a homogeneous two-phase flow model. It was possible to represent experimental data by a correlation of turbulent flow type.
