The time dependent temperature distribution is obtained for a fluid flowing in e tube. The flow is considered
to be laminar and fully developed and the fluid properties are assumed to be constant. Several combinations of boundary conditions are considered and closed form solutions for the case of uniform flow are obtained. For the case of parabolic velocity distribution the mathematical difficulties are detailed.
