THE CRITICAL HEAT FLUX AT THE POOL BOILING OF SOME BINARY LIQUID MIXTURES
Abstract
The influence of the geometry (0,1 -
10 mm) on the critical heat flux of the
binary mixtures and pure liquids in boiling has been experimentally investigated. A complicated dependence of qcr upon the cross size of the heater and the concentration of mixtures in the conditions of saturated and subcooled liquid when varying the pressure from 10−1 bar to the critical one has been found. The experimental data are treated according to the Kutateladze's formula modified by the parameters ΔC and D √(γ'-γ"/ς).
