A NEW ck DATA BASIS SUITABLE FROM 300 TO 2500K FOR SPECTRALLY CORRELATED RADIATIVE TRANSFER IN CO2- H2O-TRANSPARENT GAS MIXTURES
Abstract
Parameters of the cumulative k (ck) distribution function approach have been obtained for CO2 and H2O from 300 to 2500K for applications at atmospheric pressure. In the case of H2O they are tabulated versus H2O molar fraction in order to take into account the strong dependence of line shapes on this quantity. They have been deduced from the new EM2C approximate high temperature spectroscopic data bases. Examples of application to nonunifom and nonisothermal mixtures are given. The ck model enables the calculation of radiative heat transfer in complex 2D an 3D systems using a formulation of radiative transfer equation in terms of absorption coefficients. This is also interesting for a medium containing scattering particles. ∗Parameters are available on request to Prof. Jean Taine
