LAMINAR FILM CONDENSATION WITH NON-CONDENSING GASES IN TUBES
Sinopsis
The conservation equations are solved for the case of laminar film condensation with non-condensing gases in tubes. The solution is obtained by using the approximate integral method. The results are presented in a way which allows a direct comparison with a simple model published in the literature. The significance of a few parameters not included in this model is explored. The agreement and the deviations between these calculations and the results of the simple model are discussed. A comparison with experimental data is made on a qualitative basis.
