HEAT SURFACE FOULING BY GRAPHITE PARTICLES DEPOSITION FROM TURBULENT GAS FLOW
Sinopsis
It is possible to form deposits out of the particles on tube surfaces from dusty gas flow. Experiments have been carried out with helium flow (maximum gas pressure being 3.92 MPa and temperature − 660° C), while containing fine graphite particles. The formed deposits have a highly porous structure, a relatively low effective heat conductivity and, in the case of steam generating surface of heat exchange are able to reduce heat transfer intensity up to 30 − 40 %. Deposit formation process will be stabilized in time at studied figures of Re.
