Résumé

A heat transfer experiment was performed on R-113 upward high quality flow in a uniformly heated tube and the sharp rise in the wall temperature was observed. Applying the results of the droplet size and the characteristics of the droplet transfer coefficient measured at the inlet of the test tube, the positions were calculated where the liquid film flowrate on the heated surface became zero, on the assumption that the liquid film flowrate varies along the tube with the liquid film evaporation ad the droplet transfer onto the liquid film. Comparison of the calculated positions with the starting points of the sharp rise in wall temperature shows a satisfactory agreement in all ranges of the present experiment.
