Résumé

The sensitivity analysis is applied to investigate the behaviour of multi-passes shell and tube heat exchangers and heat recovery networks. The aim of this approach is complex analysis of the relations between the model dependent variables and the model parameters. The first order sensitivity coefficients which are partial derivatives of temperature of cold and hot streams with respect to the model parameters are considered to describe and utilize sensitivity information. The application of the method is illustrated with analysis of heat recovery networks of crude oil distillation preheating system.
