Résumé

The paper reports results of a study on porous and slot film coolings created on a flat plate with two turbulence levels of the free stream: 0.2% and 10%.
The experiments have allowed us to find out that turbulization of the external flow deteriorates the efficiency of both types of film cooling, the porous one being deteriorated more essentially. An increase in a blow section with a given flow rate of the coolant causes a decrease in the efficiency of the porous film cooling. In this case the stronger influence of the blow-section length manifests itself when the turbulence of the external flow is high.
