Résumé

A attempt is performed to scan some gateways to improve the efficiency of heat transfer modelling. Some examples of challenges are first presented, and an exploration of possibilities is then performed by zooming back (system level) and forth (microscopic modelization) from the classical continuum approach (macroscopic level). Some keywords help to outline the paper:
* decrease of dimensionality (integral transforms, boundary elements) or performant numerical techniques (multigrid) are considered for the microscopic level.,
* model reduction and expert systems at the megascopic level,
* molecular dynamics or lattice gas at microscopic level.
A point is of course mentioned about parallel computers.
