要約

A numerical model using one-dimensional finite element technique has been developed for thermal analysis of high frequency cyclic temperature variation in solids with temperature dependent thermophysical properties. The emphasis is on selection of an appropriate cooling scheme so that resulting temperature profile for a given thermal loading situation can be kept under an acceptable limit. The proposed model for predicting thermal behaviour of a solid body with time dependent boundary conditions is versatile and can be used for other similar applications.
