FORCED CONVECTION HEAT TRANSFER IN VISCOUS FLUIDS
Resumo
The report deals with forced convection in single-phase flows of viscous fluids and covers wide ranges of the Prandtl number. The analysis of the heat transfer
in laminar, turbulent and separated flows includes the effects of variable fluid physical properties and of some
other factors. It also presents descriptions of the prediction methods for the heat transfer in pipe flows,channel flows and external flows on tubes, as well as the possibilities of the heat transfer augmentation in flows of viscous fluids.
