HEAT TRANSFER FROM WALL TO STEAM FLOW AT SUPERCRITICAL PRESSURES
Аннотация
At supercritical pressure in the so-called pseudocritical temperature range and at large heat fluxes, there is considerable deterioration of heat transfer from the wall
to the turbulent steam flow. There is, in particular, a drastic decrease of steam density in this temperature range, and a consequent rapid expansion of the steam layer
at the wall, which gives rise to a flow velocity component perpendicular to the wall.
Under this flow pattern, heat transfer can be considered as similar to that occurring under the condition of liquid injection into the turbulent flow through a porous wall.
