Аннотация

If heat is transferred from one body to another through two contacting surfaces, thermal resistance exists at the interface. This thermal resistance exhibits a temperature drop (ΔT) at the interface. By using an inversion method, the transient temperature drop at the interface between two rough surfaces can be determined without using the surface topography or any assumption during the recovery procedures. In the present work, a one-dimensional inverse heat conduction problem (IHCP) is discussed. Numerical recovery results are presented as well.
