STUDY ON LAMINAR HEAT TRANSFER OF INSIDE GAS WITH CYCLIC PRESSURE CHANGE ON AN INNER WALL OF A CYLINDER HEAD
摘要
In order to do basic research on convective heat transfer of inside gas of internal combustion engines, a transient heat transfer of an ideal gas accompanied by cyclic pressure and temperature change on the flat inside surface of the cylinder head is theoretically studied and compared to the experiments. Some transient temperature distributions on the flat cylinder head wall in motoring are measured by the oblique grid shadowgraph technique through observation windows and they coincide well with the theory.
