In recent years, fluidic oscillators have been actively applied as devices for flow control in the field of aero and hydrodynamics. This experimental study investigates the instantaneous flow field of a spatially oscillating jet emitted by a fluidic oscillator into a slot channel. 3D dynamics of vortices is discussed to understand the interaction between the spatially oscillating jet and the channel walls. The oscillating jet is ejected along the walls of a slot channel. A tomographic particle image velocimetry (Tomo-PIV) system is employed for the acquisition of the 3D flow field.
