In this paper, a simplified approach is presented to assess the effect of the homogeneous nucleation process on the vapor parameters near the interface and, as a consequence, on the intensity of the evaporation process. The influence of the homogeneous nucleation process during evaporation of various substances (water, ethanol and methanol) is considered. It was shown that for the substances under consideration, the nucleation process takes less than 10 ns. The results of the calculations show that for water, there is no need to take into account the influence of the homogeneous nucleation process on the parameters of steam, for ethanol and methanol, the values of the mass flux of the evaporating liquid are determined, in which homogeneous nucleation should be taken into account.
