Abstract

A theoretical study of heat and mass transfer, during evaporation of a super-refractory spherical particle inside a thermal plasma, is made in [1]. Physical properties of the fluid (plasma) are variable. The general solutions which are proposed at low Reynolds and Peclet numbers, take in account So ret effect, enthalpic diffusion, radiation from the particle and the plasma, and Dufour effect. In this study, we now examine Stokes' flow in a fluid (plasma) with variable physical properties.
