Abstract

The measured results of temperature heat transfering surface under a vapour bubble and outside it during bubble growth and departure are presented. It was shown that both for single and interacting bubbles sufficient temperature drop of heat transfering surface occured only on the contacting area of a bubble and a wall during bubble growth. Outside this area no significant temperature change on the surface was noticed.
