HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER WITH INTENSIVE POROUS INJECTION OF FLUID
Abstract
Experimental study of heat and mass transfer of the plate with subsonic gas flow, has been carried out, different gases being injected through the porous surface of tne plate. Injection intensity varied over a wide range from zero to the appropriate values when the turbulent boundary layer is separated from the surface. Velocity and temperature profiles were also measured additionally to heat fluxes to the wall. Critical values of the injection parameter for helium, nitrogen and carbon dioxide were found at which heat fluxes to the wall become equal nearly zero. Interferometric and thermoanemometric measurements revealed no marked pulsations of the flow parameters at the separation zone. Based on experimental data analysis physical model of the phenomenon has been proposed and calculation procedure has been developed which is in good agreement with experiment.
