A STUDY OF TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION IN THE BOUNDARY LAYER IN BUBBLY FLOW
Abstract
In the paper presented is a study of temperature distribution in the boundary layer in bubbly flow. A study has been conducted based on the author's own model of hydrodynamics of bubbly flow and resulting from that temperature distribution in the boundary layer. In the present work presented is the study of the influence of means void fraction, bubble diameter and the Reynolds number on the temperature distribution in the boundary layer. A comparison has been made between the predictions made at constant and variable void fraction
assumptions. The model of heat transfer requires further experimental verification.
