Abstract

This paper presents results of the detailed statistical characteristics investigation of the velocity and temperature fields for constant heat flux on the wall at the separated flow zone behind backstep. These results were obtained with high space accuracy and can be used for an approbation of the turbulent heat transfer models in the separated flows near a wall.
Obtained data shows, that maximum coordinates of the various values profiles is almost coincide. Fluctuating characteristics distributions discovered the existence of a zone with higher level of turbulence. This zone take place in main recirculating vortex field.
The peculiarities of the local heat transfer were analysed.
