Experimental study of thermal hydraulic characteristics of cross flowed superclose staggered tube bundles
Abstrakt
Experimental study of heat transfer and hydraulics for regular staggered cross-flowed tube bundles with relative pitches 1.05, 1.1 was performed. Test data analysis showed, that for such the bundles maximum of heat transfer as relative pitch function exists in the pitch range 1.1-1.2.
Study of random geometric deviations influence on heat transfer and pressure losses showed, that deviations, not exceeded 20% of minimum gap between tubes, don't bring practically to heat transfer and drag coefficient change in comparison with non-distorted tube bundle. Further
geometry distortion brings to substantial increase of pressure losses.
