SIGNIFICANCE OF HEAT FLUX CONTROLLED FLOW BOILING EXPERIMENTS TO INDUSTRIAL VAPORISING EQUIPMENT
Abstrakt
The significance of heat flux controlled laboratory experiments to flow boiling in industrial vaporising equipment is examined. A detailed discussion of specific boiling phenomena, ranging from the onset of boiling to mixture effects, is presented. It is shown that a detailed understanding of these phenomena, together with careful interpretation of experimental data, is necessary when applying the information obtained from constant heat flux laboratory experiments to industrial exchangers.
