THREE-DIMENSIONAL TRANSIENT HEAT DIFFUSION IN A MULTILAYERED ORTHOTROPIC PLATE USING A FINITE ANALYTIC NUMERICAL METHOD
Abstrakt
A finite analytic (FA) alternating direction implicit
(AD[) numerical scheme is presented and applied to
the solution of three-dimensional transient heat conduction
problems in multilayered composite plates.
The basic idea of the FA method is the incorporation
of a local analytic solution of the governing equation
in the numerical solution of the boundary-value problem.
The FA numerical solution is applied to two
sample problems. Numerical and experimental results
show that the FA method is accurate and well
suited for simulating the transient temperature response
of composite samples.
