CONJUGATE NATURAL CONVECTION AIR-COOLING OF SUBSTRATE-MOUNTED HEAT SOURCES IN AN ENCLOSURE -EFFECT OF ASPECT RATIO AND BOUNDARY CONDITIONS
Abstrakt
The present study illustrates the effect of aspect ratio and boundary conditions on maximum temperature for a natural convection air-cooled substrate-mounted multiple heat sources of different heat inputs placed centrally inside an enclosure. The set of transport equations was numerically simulated using the finite volume technique. The maximum protrusion temperatures for different cases were determined. It is concluded that aspect ratio and boundary conditions have a significant influence on the maximum temperature relative to that for the benchmark configuration.
