HEAT TRANSFER AT SUPERHEATED STEAM CONDENSATION INSIDE TUBES
Abstract
Local heat transfer coefficients were studied for the superheated steam flow inside coled tubes. The parameter range investigated involves the following data: P= 4−216 bars: Wρ = 400−4000 kg/m2sec, q = 2·104− 16·106W/m2, tf from 500°C to ts.
Analysis of the experimental data has resulted in the determining of border values of parameters of two zones: a zone within which the superheated steam condensation takes place and a zone where the steam is subjected only to cooling with no changes in its aggregate state.
The calculation recommendations for determining heat transfer coefficients are proposed for each zone.
