MATHEMATICAL MODELLING OF THE APPLICATION OF PSYCHROMETRIC METHODS FOR SURFACE PHENOMENA OF POROUS BODIES AT SIMULTANEOUS HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER
Sinopsis
Present paper is dealing with the mathematical modelling of the surface evaporation into a binary gas mixture flow of a solvent bound in a porous body. As initial model
a simpler capillar-porous body was chosen the geometrical extents of which in one direction might be regarded as negligible. For this reason and due to the assumed
location of the capillar groups on the surface of the body the temperature and concentration gradients can be disregarded. - A new interpretation of the phase
equilibrium curve for porous evaporation is given. The results of a numerical example are illustrated.
