An inverse estimation of surface temperature using the maximum entropy method
Résumé
The maximum entropy method (MEM) is applied to estimation ofs urface temperature from temperature readings. The inverse heat conduction problem is reformulated for MEM and a three-phase solution method utilizing the successive quadratic programming (SQP) is addressed. Computational results by MEM are
presented and compared with results by the conjugate gradient method (CGM).
