THE CONNECTIVE HEAT TRANSFER FOR THE EXTENDED SURFACE WITH UNIFORM CROSS-SECTION IN A CHANNEL
Resumo
Many enhanced surfaces with complex geometries play both as extended surfaces and disturbance devices for the enhancement of heat transfer. Fluid flow and heat transfer in a passage with an extended surface with uniform cross section are investigated numerically and the macroscopic mean characteristics of the friction and heat transfer are presented in volume-averaged forms. This study is a trial for modelling flow and heat transfer in microstructure of complex geometries as porous media.
